We pulled Amazon's search results for "diamond painting christmas ornaments" on October 3, 2026, two pages deep, and kept the ornament sets with real sales: the "bought in past month" badge and the rating count. About half the bestsellers are pearl sets that launched this fall, with a few dozen ratings each. The older drill sets sell less but have hundreds of ratings. When to start, and when to order
Ornaments are the safest Christmas project to start late. A single charm is an evening at most, and a family can finish a 12-piece set in an afternoon. The bottleneck is shipping. Ornament sets sell out and restock all season, so order by mid-November if you want them for a Thanksgiving-weekend craft session, and check the listing's delivery estimate before you count on a date.
