Is Diamond Painting Pro legit? What the evidence says

Diamond Painting Pro is a real store that ships real kits. The complaints are about slow overseas shipping and strict returns, and you can read both in its own policies before you order.

Diamond Painting Pro (diamondpaintingpro.com) is legit in the narrow sense: it's an established online store that does ship diamond painting kits. But "legit" and "a good place to order" aren't the same thing. Its own shipping page says kits come from printing facilities overseas in 7 to 28 days on average, custom kits can't be refunded, and on October 13, 2026 its Trustpilot score was 1.6 out of 5. If you need a kit by a date, or you're ordering a custom photo kit, buy from a store with a US warehouse and an easier return policy instead.

How we checked Diamond Painting Pro

We read the store's FAQ and its shipping and return policies on October 13, 2026, then looked at its Trustpilot profile and a ScamAdviser domain report the same day. We didn't place an order. We have no relationship with Diamond Painting Pro or any brand mentioned here beyond standard Amazon Associates links.

What the complaints are about

Reading the low-star reviews on Trustpilot, the same problems repeat:

  • Orders taking a month or more, sometimes several months.
  • Buyers saying they didn't realize the kit would ship from China until after paying.
  • Tracking marked "delivered" for parcels the buyer never received, or tracking in someone else's name.
  • Refunds refused, and support replies that repeat the policy without resolving anything.
  • A few product complaints: crushed packaging, hard-to-read symbols, wrong colors.

There's also praise in the mix, including a five-star review for a custom pet portrait the buyer called "absolutely perfect". The profile is unclaimed, and Trustpilot notes the company doesn't invite reviews, which tends to skew any profile toward unhappy customers. Even allowing for that, 77% one-star is a clear signal.

The math most buyers miss

The 60-day return window starts on the purchase date, not the delivery date. With 7 to 28 days of shipping plus processing, a slow parcel can eat half the window before it arrives:

Return window vs delivery time A 60-day bar starting at the purchase date. A fast delivery at day 7 leaves 53 days to decide on a return. A slow delivery at day 28 plus processing leaves about 30 days or less. 60-day return window, counted from purchase Day 0: purchaseDay 60: window closes Fast53 days left after a 7-day delivery Slow28 days shipping + processingabout 30 days or less left
Based on the store's shipping policy (7 to 28 days average, processing extra) and return policy (60 days from purchase), read October 13, 2026.

So open the box the day it arrives, count the drill bags against the legend, and photograph anything damaged. Don't let it sit in the closet until a free weekend.

If you're ordering a custom photo kit

Custom kits are the riskiest thing to order from any overseas store, and Diamond Painting Pro excludes them from refunds. Its FAQ does give sound advice: pick a size of at least 40 cm across so a photo has enough drills to show detail. Before ordering a custom kit anywhere, read our custom diamond painting guide, which covers photo choice and sizing. On Amazon, the Mougins custom kit promises a free replacement or refund if something's wrong, and the UM UPMALL custom kit has more than 7,300 ratings; and on Amazon you can fall back on the A-to-z Guarantee if a third-party seller won't fix a problem.

My order is late. What now?

  1. Check the date. Count from your order date: processing plus up to 28 days is still inside the store's stated window.
  2. Check every parcel. The shipping policy warns that a multi-kit order can arrive in separate packages.
  3. Email support at the address on the return policy page with your order number and the email you ordered with. The policy says customer service replies within 24 hours.
  4. If tracking says "delivered" and you have nothing, ask your post office and neighbors, then tell support in writing the same day.
  5. If the window has passed and support doesn't fix it, open a dispute with your card issuer or PayPal. Keep the order confirmation, the tracking page and every email.

How to check any diamond painting store in five minutes

Dozens of stand-alone diamond painting shops run on the same template, and most of the answers are on pages they already publish. Before you pay anywhere new:

  1. Open the shipping policy and find the words "ships from". "Overseas" or "our facilities" with a 2-to-4-week range means a parcel from abroad, whatever the home page banner says.
  2. Open the return policy and look for what's excluded. Custom kits are excluded almost everywhere; check whether the window counts from purchase or delivery.
  3. Search the FAQ for "missing". A named process with the DMC code is normal. A written guarantee period, like Diamond Art Club's lifetime protection, is better.
  4. Look the domain up on Trustpilot and read the one-star reviews from the last 12 months, not the average. Repeated "never arrived" stories matter more than one angry review about colors.
  5. Pay by credit card or PayPal, never by bank transfer or gift card, so a dispute is possible if the parcel never shows.

A store that passes all five can still be slow. A store that fails two or more is a gamble.

If you'd rather not wait

A ready-made kit from a brand that ships from the US, or from Amazon, removes most of the risk. The Diamond Art Club Stained Glass Flower kit on Amazon is one of the brand's best sellers (4.8 stars, about 700 bought last month). For large canvases at budget prices, see our large full-drill kits, and for a brand you can also buy in stores, read our Diamond Dotz review.

Verdict

Diamond Painting Pro isn't a scam, but it's a slow, overseas-shipped store with a strict return policy and a poor review record. Order from it only if you're happy to wait a month, you're buying a stock kit (not custom), and you'll check the box the day it arrives. Everyone else has better options.

Questions people ask

Is Diamond Painting Pro a scam?
The evidence points to a real store with poor reviews rather than a scam. Its domain dates to April 2019, it publishes shipping and return policies, and buyers do report receiving kits. Most complaints are about long overseas shipping, tracking problems and refunds being refused.
Where does Diamond Painting Pro ship from?
Its shipping policy says orders ship from 'our custom printing facilities located overseas', and its FAQ says facilities include 'the US and overseas'. The site also has a collection labeled as shipping from the USA, so check which collection a kit is in before ordering if speed matters.
How long does Diamond Painting Pro take to ship?
The shipping policy lists 7 to 28 days on average to the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia, not counting processing time, and says it can occasionally take longer because of congestion or customs.
Can I return a Diamond Painting Pro order?
Stock kits can be returned within 60 days of the purchase date if unused and in the original packaging, and you pay return shipping. Custom kits, started or finished paintings, gift cards and items still in transit can't be refunded.
Is Diamond Painting Pro the same as Diamond Art Club?
No. They're unrelated companies. Diamond Art Club ships from a warehouse in Avon, Indiana, offers 30-day returns and lifetime missing-diamond protection, and has a 4.8 Trustpilot score from more than 4,000 reviews.
What should I do if my diamond painting order never arrived?
Wait until the store's stated delivery window has passed, then email support with your order number and tracking. If the store doesn't resolve it, open a dispute with your card issuer or PayPal, keeping copies of the order confirmation and every email.
